Healthy
Teens Marin is dedicated to improving the health and safety of Marin County teenagers. This effort includes public and
private community organizations, students, parents, and educators working together toward the goals of increasing awareness
of significant health risks to adolescents, sharing information and resources, and developing new ways of listening
to and educating the youth of our country to make healthy behavior choices as they approach adulthood.
Peer Summit XIV will be held on Friday, November 13th, 2009
Workshop Application
In addition to two session of workshops and after lunch in the Campus Bistro, Peer Summit XIV participants will be
treated to a performance of
OUTSPOKEN, by YouthAware Educational Theater
in College of Marin’s Fine Arts Performance Center.
Healthy Teens Marin is a partnership of the
Marin County Department of Health & Human
Services, the Marin County Office of Education,
Marin County Foundation,
Marin County Sheriff and Probation Departments,
Marin County Public Defender's Office,
Marin County District Attorney's Office and the
Healthy Marin Partnership.
Healthy Teens Marin Community Partners include
Huckleberry Youth Programs,
Youth Leadership Institute,
College of Marin,
Novato Youth Center and Marin City Network.
Healthy Teens Marin partners provide cash and in-kind staffing
